Pet loss counseling provides a safe, non-judgemental space to process grief, emotions, and memories. It can help individuals feel validated, understand their grief, and develop coping strategies that honor the bond with their beloved companion.

Att this time, only virtual telehealth sessions are offered on a secure HIPPA compliant platform. Telehealth allows access to care from the comfort of your home.
I support all ages with pet loss grief inlcuding children, adolescents, young adults and older.
Both. Insurance accepted include: Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, Harvard Pilgrim, and Tufts. Optum is currently pending. In addition, I also accept private pay- please inquire as needed.

Yes. Sessions are confidential, in accordance with professional and legal standards.
The duration of a therapy session lasts approximately 50 minutes. How often? That is up to you, and depends on your needs. Some individuals choose to meet weekly, where others meet bi-weekly, and/or 1x month. Together, we can discuss a plan that works the best for your schedule and needs.
Yes. In addition to holding a Mental Health License in the state of Massachusetts, I am also certifed as a Grief Educator, along with being certified in Pet Loss Grief.
Yes. From experience, I understand how deeply meaningful the bond between a human and animal can be, and know first hand, that the pain is real. I will do my best to support you in your grief so that you are able to move forward in creating a life that honors your beloved companion.
There is no timeline in Grief, meaning that the number of sessions vary for each individual. Some people benefit from short-term support, while others choose ongoing therapy.
Sessions are client-led and paced according to comfort. They may include sharing memories, exploring emotions, understanding grief responses, and/or developing a tool-box of coping tools to utilze.
Therapy is completed when you feel more grounded, your grief feels manageable, and you feel confident moving forward. This is a collaborative decision and can be revisited at any time.
